Amani Children's Choir Concert @ American Legion Post 336

Please join us for an amazing cultural experience with the Amani Children's Choir from Kampala, Uganda!

The program features a mixture of instruments, hand clapping, patriotic tributes, dancing, traditional spirituals, and contemporary tunes. The choir believes that praise and worship is not based on your circumstances but is from the heart. In spite of the tragedy that has marred their young lives, the children are radiant with hope, musically gifted, wonderfully entertaining, and inspiring everyone their with their concerts to praise and worship God.

Monthly Open Meeting for American Legion Post 336, American Legion Auxiliary Unit 336, & Sons of the American Legion

Please join us for a joint meeting of Milltown Post American Legion Post 336, American Legion Auxiliary Unit 336, and Sons of the American Legion each month! Non-members are welcomed and we encourage you to bring a friend. We will be having a potluck prior to the meeting and welcome all to enjoy the meal. 
  • Potluck starts at 5:30pm 
    • Special Guests: Amani Children's Choir from Uganda will be performing patriotic songs with dance during the dinner 
  • Meeting begins at 6pm
    • Guest Speaker: Mr. Bob Roquemore - Boy Scouts
The American Legion's success depends entirely on active membership, participation and volunteerism. The organization belongs to the people it serves and the communities in which it thrives.

Lanier County High Spring Plant Sale

The Lanier County High School Horticulture class and FFA would like to announce their Annual Spring Plant Sale set for the dates March 25th through March 29th at the Lanier County High Horticulture Greenhouse.  The doors will be open Monday through Thursday 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, and Friday from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm. 
 
This year, we offer a variety of vegetable and ornamental plants.  Plants will be sold either by 606 packs (6 plants per pack), 6-inch pots, or 10-inch hanging baskets.  You can also mix and match 6-606 packs to make a flat. 
 
Prices are as follows:
 
606 pack: $3
Flat (6-606 packs): $12 (You can mix and match.)
6-inch pot: $ 3
10-inch hanging basket: $10
Large Ferns: $20

There are also many other types of plants and plant arrangements available.  Please come and support our Lanier County Horticulture and FFA students.  All proceeds will go to support future Horticulture and FFA students and events.
