Nell Roquemore's Birthday Ball

The community is invited to Celebrate Nell Roquemore's 94th birthday.
 A Birthday Ball Dessert & Dance will be held at the Threatte Center on
Saturday March 10, 2017.  The event will begin at 7:00 p.m.
All proceeds go to benefit the Jim and Mary Threatte Arts and Civic Center.

New Hire Solutions out of Valdosta is currently holding a Job Fair at the Lakeland Chamber of Commerce Welcome Center at 8 South Valdosta Rd from 10 am - 2 pm.

Lanier County High Spring Plant Sale

The Lanier County High Horticulture class and FFA would like to announce their Annual Spring Plant Sale set for the dates March 26th through March 30th at the Lanier County High Horticulture Greenhouse.  The doors will be open Monday through Thursday 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, and Friday from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm. 
 
This year, we offer a variety of vegetable and ornamental plants.  Plants will be sold either by 606 packs (6 plants per pack), 6-inch pots, or 10-inch hanging baskets.  You can also mix and match 6-606 packs to make a flat. 
 
Prices are as follows:
 
606 pack: $3
Flat (6-606 packs): $12 (You can mix and match.)
6-inch pot: $ 3
10-inch hanging basket: $10
Large Ferns: $20
